Programs included in the 100 Hour Ashtanga Teacher Training Course

Like other programs, Ashtanga yoga primarily focuses on pranayama and meditation practices. Later the teachers follow up teaching the first series of Daily Ashtanga. Before the start of the course, the learners must be aware of the history and philosophy of the direction they want to start with. Later the students, along with the teachers, have a look at Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and eight limbs to put on heavy load. Teachers even make them aware of Western Anatomy, alignment, assists, and adjustments. It deals with the daily teaching practices.

Daily Schedule to follow in 100 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training

As per the schedules of other program practices, same is for the Ashtanga Yoga course. Shree Hari schedules for all the classes in between 6.30 am to 5.30 pm for 11 hours. Sundays are generally off, and Saturdays conducted are the half days. Rest free time is for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the trees.

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Anatomy (Eastern and Western)

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Art of Teaching

7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Dinner

 

Accommodation and Food

Shree Hari Yoga primarily focuses on the comfort of the people staying there. They provide simple, clean and safe rooms for the students and the learners, which are a few steps away from Yogashala. The rooms are two seated or private rooms as per student preferences. Step out of the door are the beautiful trees that bring fresh minds of students every day.

Students get three meals in one day that are energy-boosting from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is the holiday for the staff and students to have delicious food as per their choice. The kitchen invites students to bake for themselves.
